A few weeks ago {V-day weekend}
we took a mini-vacay
to San Antonio to meet Mammy & Poppy!
We stayed at a fabulous resort with tons
of fun things to do...

Swimming was a blast!!
Sophie made her first basket ever!!
There was a giant water slide that Emma talked
Momma in to going down, I thought, eh, okay, I'll
do it, but I'm not gonna get my hair wet...
HA! Boy was I wrong, I flew down the slide,
and was plunged under...it was almost scary how
fast it sent you down! The kids loved it!
Ethan is more of an 'play outside of the pool'
kinda guy!
Oh but not Sophie, she's a little fish!
The next day we woke up and went to
the TMEA{Texas Music Educators Association?}
event with Mammy!! We played on instruments, and
Mammy, Emma and Abby and I got to hear
the mixed choir sing a beautiful concert!
Daddy, Poppy, Ethan & Sophie hung out

Next we headed to the Riverwalk to
enjoy a late lunch!

As we sat at our table eating lunch
every time a boat drove past us along the canal
the kids would look at the name on the back!
They were anxiously awaiting the boat
they had heard about named 'Miss Laura'
for Mammy!!
Such a fun time with our loves!
After lunch we got to ride our own river boat!
one sleepy nap deprived little boy!
Sophie LOVED the boat ride!
After our fun on the Riverwalk
we headed back to our resort and
went swimming again!!
Had a quick dinner and then
headed out to the firepits to
roast some marshmallows!

Sunday morning we woke up and got to have
breakfast with Campa & Lolli, Tyfani & Aaron, & Bregan
They were in town for Kelly's graduation with her Masters in Nursing!

After breakfast we said goodbye to
everyone and decided to take the crew to
see the Alamo!!

Ethan is really the sweetest big
brother I've ever seen! He is very VERY
protective of her! He would NOT let go
of her til I got done taking this pic, he said,
'No-Soph, be still, I dont want you falling'!
Her response, 'okay Bubbie' :)

Such a fabulous time spent with my sweet
family! We are looking forward to going back
with the whole Lane Gang at the end of the summer! :)
