2013 Highlights

2013 was a year of change 

for our sweet little family!

In February we loaded up, 

said goodbye to our friends 

and family in West Texas and 

moved our precious family to the

beautiful city of Fort Worth!

{Keller to be more specific!}

Ethan made it almost 3 years without being

kindergartener got a promotion!

The last week of school they had a day full of fun...

sidewalk chalk, sprinklers, slip n slides, 

bouncies and water slides!

Ethan and Abby even got to join in on the fun!

{I cannot even fathom the fact that 

my sweet Abigail will be in kinder this Fall :(

 lessons and LOVES it!

this handsome lil stud turned 3 in June

what did this adorable little guy wanna do

for his bday? go camping of course!

There's a state park not far from our house

called Cedar Hill, has a beautiful lake and

tons of campsites! I'd say it was the perfect camping trip,

but almost everyone got chiggers...yuck!

But those didn't really take affect until after we got home,

so, it was fun while we were there!

did I mention how adorable this little boy is?!?

...but their sweet little faces made all
of that hard work SO worth it!

On my birthday, {NYE}

Emma was goofing around and bouncing

on the couch with her toothbrush in her 

mouth when she fell and jammed her tooth

brush back in her throat. After a quick facetime

diagnosis from Dr. Juju, we rushed her to the ER

{you can never be too careful!} 

We were lucky enough find that 

Lolli was working just a few floors up from

 the ER, and had just transferred from working

in the ER, therefore knowing everyone there!

She immediately came down to make our sweet

girl feel better! Hospitals are scary, especially the ER!

The dr. came in, looked and said it looked

fine, gave a Rx for some 'magic mouthwash'

After a very long night of a lot of pain,
Emma was feeling a little better. Poor Poppy did not
get one ounce of sleep, he was SO sweet with her!
Trying any and everything he could thing of to help
her feel better. It was
very very hard for him to hear her cry and see her
in so much pain. Every single time she swallowed
it would hurt, and she would start crying again.
She would finally settle down, then swallow again,
making for an extremely long night for our poor baby :(
The only person that could seem to soothe her
was her Papa!

Whew, what a wonderful year we had!
