For the longest time I
wondered, when will Emma lose her
first tooth, I honestly cant remember exactly
how old I was when I lost my 1st, but I
can pin it to somewhere around 1st or 2nd grade.
{vague...I know!}
All of Emma's friends have lost
their 1st tooth, and she was becoming
discouraged, wondering when she would
lose her 1st tooth.
Well, December 9th, was
a very special day for our sweet girl!
She had a loose tooth all during Thanksgiving
and showed everyone who would look her
very cute wiggly little tooth!
But she would not let anyone touch it...
she was afraid of Daddy accidentally
pulling it and it hurting badly.
{of course Daddy wouldn't do that, but
she was very worried about that...}
So for a good 2 weeks every single day, several
times a day Emma would run up and show me
her loose tooth. Saying,
'Mommy, I think it might fall out today!'
Finally, she was tired of waiting...2 weeks
is a long time to wait for a loose tooth to come out!
She brought me a wet washcloth and told me
she was ready for me to try to pull it. I told
her that if it was not ready I would not pull it.
She was ready...I carefully covered her cute little
tooth with the washcloth and pinched and gently pulled
and out it came! She was very excited to say the least!
Excited that she had lost her first tooth, just like
all of her friends, and more excited that the Tooth Fairy
{of whom all of her friends have talked} would finally
come!
The next morning, {bright and early}
I awoke to this excited little girl!
The Tooth Fairy wrote her a note, brought her a
new tooth brush, toothpaste & princess mouthwash
and more importantly a sparkly, glittery $5 dollar bill!!
The girls were very excited to see the glittery trail that she left
outside their window in the snow...turquoise glitter, Emma's favorite color!
Last night Emma lost tooth #2!!
{tooth #1's next door neighbor!}
All she wanted for New Years was her 2 front teeth! Ha!
This time, however, Mommy tried to pull it with no luck,
it simply wasn't ready to come out yet!
I sent the girls to brush their teeth before bed, and
they were being silly, Abby somehow managed to bump
Emma's hand that was on her tooth and it came out
and fell strait down the drain. Now, if this had been the first
tooth lost, that would have been a terrible, terrible thing,
going down the drain, but since we did this exact
same thing less than a month ago, it was no big deal!
I think Emma was really just relieved that it was finally out!
She did write the Tooth Fairy a note explaining that she
did in fact lose her tooth, literally! Haha! She
was so worried that the Tooth Fairy would be mad, and
not come and visit her if she had no tooth to leave!
UH-dorable! I LOVE my sweet Emma girl!
I think my favorite part about the note,
{if you can't read it...}
is where she tells the TF that
Abby is "srrey" and that she loves to
brush her teeth!
Cuteness!
LOVE my girls!
